I am participating in the Inkhaven Writer’s Residency for April 2026 in fabulous Berkeley, California. It is a unique program in which Residents are required to output one 500+ word post per day for 30 days. If we miss even 1 day, we will be removed from the program.
The residency is close to an end. I won’t lie, it’s been very different than I imagined. I’ve written zero short stories and I’ve picked up many new interests. But I am glad that I am here. It’s a shame that it’s coming to an end soon… but at the same time I’m simultaneously quite burnt out.
